A spiritual self-development course within a learning framework it will give you the skills and confidence to do accurate and insightful readings for yourself, friends and family. It also provides an excellent foundation towards further study to be a professional Intuitive Tarot Reader, or incorporate it within your existing offerings.
I’ll introduce you to the traditional Tarot meanings but you’ll develop a personal relationship with the cards by using your own knowledge and intuition and basic sun sign and planetary astrology (that I'll teach you if you don't already know it).
You’ll create your own set of interpretations based on the traditional card meanings but in a way that feels resonant and personal to you and reflects the experiences, themes, people and energies in your life.

Classes will be interactive, spiritually and intuitively led within a structured learning framework. Each session will open with a sharing circle and meditation and will include q&a and discussion time in addition to informal lecture-style teaching.
There’ll be 4 x 2 hour weekday sessions and 2 x 2.5 hour Saturday sessions. The first 3 classes are closer together to get you into the swing of things and then the sessions spread out a bit to give you time to integrate and deepen your knowledge and understanding. If you can't attend all the sessions don't worry, you'll receive the recording within 48 hours and have ongoing text support for any further clarification you need.
After week 4 or 5 in addition to the weekly classes you’ll be practising your new Tarot reading and intuitive skills with each other and anyone else you feel like sharing with. You’ll also have a 30 minute 1-2-1 with me during the course or shortly afterwards to do a practice reading and chat through any bigger questions you may have, and you'll have text support from me throughout the course and ongoing thereafter.

If necessary I'll create some additional 20-30 minutes teaching videos as we go along to support your learning.
** I'm moving house sometime around early December so it may be necessary to tweak some of the later dates, but I'll only do it if it's unavoidable **
What you'll need
If you don't already have one please get yourself the original and iconic Rider Waite Smith Tarot Deck. From a learning perspective it's the most popular and commonly used deck due to it's enduring appeal and depth of universally recognised symbolism and archetypes. You only need the deck, not the deck and book.
During our live classes I'll also refer to the Sharman Caselli Deck which is my favourite teaching deck. The images are largely based on Rider Waite Smyth, and aimed at beginners with a cleaner, more modern appearance that I feel lends clarity to some of the less tangible RWS cards. If you already have the RWS and would like to explore another deck to deepen your current learning this would be the one I'd recommend.
Please also get a journal or notebook for recording your thoughts, feelings, course notes and card spreads. You'll receive an online workbook and a little further down the line I'll recommend you find educational sources that resonate with you. I'll also share my favourite Tarot and Astrology resources with you.

If you’d prefer a flexible payment plan over 3 or 4 installments please get in touch - my only stipulation is that the balance is paid before the end of the course.
Before we start
Your first meeting with the cards will be before the course starts. I’ll ask you not to read the meanings online or in a book, rather I invite you to get a notebook or journal and write the words and feelings that intuitively arise for you for each of the 78 cards. It sounds like a lot but you'll do it in manageable stages throughout the course starting with the Major Arcana (22 cards) before our first meeting, then the Court Cards (16 cards) and lastly the 4 suits of the Minor Arcana (10 cards per suit).
The emphasis of the pre-work is to connect with the cards intuitively, using your existing knowledge and inner wisdom rather than trying to 'get it right' so I encourage you to try and resist looking up the meanings online or in books (hence why I didn't recommend that you get the book that sometimes accompanies the RWS deck!).
