Let me introduce myself

My journey to Tarot

An avid oracle card fan I’d always been a bit wary of Tarot, but in 2016 I bought my first deck. Despite having no idea what any of the cards meant I was completely drawn in by the occult symbolism and powerful imagery and was instantly hooked.

Like most beginners I spent hours poring over the meanings but over time I developed a personal connection with the cards so I can interpret them instinctively, intuitively and in relationship to the rest of the spread.

I began incorporating them in my Yoga classes, Moon Circles and healing sessions and loved that my clients were always fascinated by their ability to accurately pinpoint what was going on in their lives.

During a challenging period I turned deeply to Tarot for answers, guidance and reassurance. It was a fascinating glimpse into my psyche, with all the outdated patterns, protection mechanisms, limiting beliefs and deeply buried insecurities. It was quite something, to see myself laid bare like that, and although it didn’t feel like it at the time being bullied by my Tarot cards was one of the best things that’s happened to me. They’ve enabled me to see myself with clarity, compassion and forgiveness

So here I am, armed with nothing but my trusty cards and 30 years of adult life experience, ready and waiting to help you navigate change, find clarity and make lasting, significant changes to your life.

My favourite thing about doing readings?

It's hard to say just one thing as I absolutely love what I do.

Tarot is a complex, multi-layered and supremely powerful tool for guidance, personal growth and change.

It can help us get unstuck, gain clarity and perspective, make life-altering decisions and answer questions, especially those on the matters closest to our hearts - love, career and life path.

What's interesting to me is that we already know the answers, we already know what the underlying issues are, we already know how to move around obstacles and navigate those moments when we feel stuck…we just need a tool, Tarot in this instance, to help us remember.

So to answer the original question, I love when my clients realise that they knew all along what to do, say or change, that's when I know I've done my job properly.

If you need help remembering book in for a reading with me. My cheapest service is just £10 and there’s a range of options up to £78 depending on how deep you want to go. I’ve tagged my most popular offerings in the photo.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

Unlike some other psychic readers my gifts have been revealed to me slowly but surely as I've got older. I had a profound past-life connect with Rome and Pompeii during my early 20's and was told by several mediums at the time that I had 'the gift' but didn't fully connect with it for another 20 years.

My first real sense of receiving information psychically and from Spirit came when I was working as a Reiki healer in 2015. I'd hear, see, feel or just know what was going on for my client without them having to tell me.

Tarot has heightened my intuition and taught me to trust the information I receive without second guessing myself or questioning where it came from. It's also deepened my trust in myself in other areas of my life which is a wonderful bonus!

Nowadays I work mainly with clairsentience (feeling) and claircognisance (knowing). I receiving information psychically and sense Spirit as colours or an energetic presence. My familiar is a little black cat, just like the one on the RSW Tarot card Queen of Wands, my favourite card in the deck, is always close by!

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

At a recent psychic event I read for a woman I'd never met before who had questions about her relationship. The cards suggested that despite the problems in the relationship the fundamental desire was love, harmony, unity and a deep intimate connection. After digging into the blocks and how to work through them she left feeling reassured, optimistic for the future and relieved that it was possible to salvage, heal and strengthen her marriage.

An hour or so later a gentleman came along, also unknown to me, who was also looking for a love reading. As the spread began to develop I intuitively realised that this man was the husband of the woman I had read for earlier as the current situation, blocks and guidance for healing and moving forward were the same. Many of the cards were identical and those that weren't pointed to the same situations and outcomes but from a slightly different perspective.

It was an affirming, uplifting and heartwarming experience to know that these two beautiful souls who had somehow become disconnected were being shown the same way forward through the magic of Tarot. I wish them all the very best for the future and feel confident they'll be reconfirming their marriage vows very soon!

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

Since 2014 I've worked extensively with the subtle body and energy in my years as Yoga Teacher, Well Woman Yoga Therapist and Reiki Master. I understand the vibrational nature of our day to day existence and how lower energies like fear, anxiety, worry, anger and sadness deplete our soul and spirit, blocking us from seeing ourselves and the situations in our lives as we, and they, truly are. We wear our traumas, challenges, pain and suffering like a cloak that dims our inner light and our connection to our essence, which is peaceful, blissful and free and by working with Tarot we can shed the layers of protection and armour to reveal our true selves.

I've loved astrology since I was a child, eagerly reading my horoscope in my Mum's Cosmopolitan magazine every month and feeling proud of my Gemini status! Little did I know that this was just the tip of the iceberg for what astrology has to teach us! My connection to astrology has deepened significantly over the last few years and I started formally studying it last year. I've learned that we're born with a blueprint, our very own creation myth if you will, that imprints on us certain traits, behaviours and patterns. They often operate in the background, like a computer programme or app that we're not aware of, and by shining the light of awareness on it, through Tarot, analysing the fundamentals of our natal chart, or even just understanding our basic Sun/Star sign archetype we can overwrite the programme to navigate the challenges and optimise the opportunities contained within our individual horoscopes. I incorporate elements of astrology in all my readings to help you understand yourself on the deepest level possible in the time we have together.

I'm 52 years old with 30 years of adult life experience under my belt. In the last 7 years alone I've dealt being a carer to a dying parent, divorce, mental and physical health struggles, financial worries, empty nest syndrome, loss of identity, radical career change, heartbreak, loss, finding new love AND lockdown, all of which have gifted me a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that I'd love to share with you.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

The most crucial thing when deciding to have a reading is to pick someone you feel drawn to, not just someone who's available right now, or someone who's been recommended to you. Reading Tarot isn't just about me telling you what the cards mean and hoping it fits with your current situation, it's about developing a relationship based on trust, openness and a genuine connection.

The best readings are the ones where the querent (you) feels safe and confident to enter into an honest and curious dialogue with the reader (me) with the shared intention of gleaning the most accurate, insightful and helpful reading possible in the time we share. At the end of your reading you should be able understand yourself, the themes and issues your life and your current situation from a place of acceptance, clarity and compassion. You should leave feeling that your questions have been answered and you know what to do, or not do, next.

Tarot cards have complex and multi-layered meanings, and while I can intuitively interpret them in a way that's directly related to you and your circumstances, your input is required in order to get the best results so the cards and I can direct you to your highest and greatest good. So by choosing a reader that you feel genuinely drawn to and who's bio and ethos resonates with your philosophy and outlook on life, the better chance you have of getting a truly memorable, life-changing reading.
