Time to get serious, it’s Capricorn Season ♑️

Coming hot on the heels of expansive, adventure loving Sagittarius, ruled by jolly old Jupiter, Capricorn can feel like a big fat reality check with it’s boundaries, limitations, love of discipline and urge to do things properly and on time.

Ruled by hard taskmaster Saturn, the second largest and most iconic planet in the solar system with it’s spectacular ice rings

there’s no half-measures or quick fixes here, just good, old-fashioned hard work and a tremendous capacity for delayed gratification.

Representing tradition, authority and the establishment, Capricorn forms the backbone of society, much as it rules the skeleton and structure of the human body.

Think old school, old money, the old ways are the best and old before their time and you’ve got Cap in a nutshell.Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The Mountain Goat

A cardinal earth sign, it’s initiatory energy ushers in the season of winter on the shortest day of the year and from there, the cautious, ambitious and surefooted mountain goat steadily climbs towards the zenith of the Summer Solstice.

Astrology is nothing if not symbolic.

The devil’s in the details

And talking of symbols, the corresponding Tarot card is The Devil. It’s in the detail apparently, another thing Capricorn loves!

Meticulous to a T, they’re all about planning, efficiency, professionalism and prudence.

However, they enjoy the finer things in life and The Devil can represent temptation and the addictive nature of consumerism and excess that come with having all that money they’ve worked blood, sweat and tears for.

It always feels like a paradox that Christmas falls in Capricorn season, surely something THAT excessive should be in Saggitarius?

But unfortunately, I don’t make the rules, Capricorn does!
