Proof of Life & Love After Death
I had an incredible experience connecting with Spirit!
As part of the milestone celebrations of a wonderful client last week I did a birthday Tarot and Reiki session.
During the reading I became aware of the energies of her father and paternal grandmother, whose presence was deeply touching to my client on her very special day. The REAL magic happened during Reiki however, when I received a beautiful and very clear message for her from someone called Bob or Robert. It was completely unexpected but totally undeniable.
I heard a message (clairaudience) knew the name (claircognizance) and felt (claisentience) that he wanted me to focus the healing in particular chakra. He was very insistent that I spent a long time there! Twice I tried to move my hands away but both times a firm energy guided them back down until the healing was complete. My client was very emotional when I shared the message with her. I asked if she knew a Bob or a Robert and after a momentary look of disbelief she burst into tears, revealing that Robert was her dad and everyone knew him as Bob. Before he died Bob promised her he'd come back to let her know he was still with her. And on her special birthday he was finally able to fulfill his promise.
To help Bob give a much-needed and deeply healing message to his daughter on her special day was a truly profound experience. It was intimate and transformational, not just for my client and her Dad but for me too. I was moved to tears the next day as the enormity and sanctity of what happened sank in whenI shared the story with my daughter.
As a relative newbie to communicating with spirit I was delighted to have made contact and brought through a message from the other side. It's the first time I've got a name (considered to be the Holy Grail of mediumship) and I was amazed and proud of myself in equal measure! I've struggled in recent years with low self-worth and lacked trust in myself. Mediumship and working psychically requires you to trust 100% in what you see, feel, hear, know and for some people smell and taste (clairgustance and clairalience respectively) no matter how random or nonsensical it appears at the time.
In the past I would have told myself I was imagining it or, more accurately, that I wasn't good enough to be a medium or psychic and dismissed any information that came through. But I've done a lot of healing work this year and it's given me the faith, trust and confidence I needed. Now I know that not only am I good enough to do it but I'm already doing it AND I've been doing it for while without realising/ believing it!
One of my favourite podcasters Melissa White paraphrases Spiderman when she jokes that for mediums 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Since this experience I've got a greater understanding of what she means. I feel excited and grateful to have been offered a space on a mediumship development course in January and can't wait to start. I feel very privileged to be walking this path and learning how to hold the most sacred and healing of spaces.
