Time feel, imagine and believe - it's Pisces Season ♓️

The Sun is setting on the current astrological year as we descend into the mutable water of Pisces, the place in our birth chart where we lose ourselves in order to find transcendence.

Unlike its opposite sign Virgo that thrives on reality, practicality and analysis Pisces exists in the realm of dreams, imagination and fantasy.

Highly intuitive and sensitive to the energy around them Pisceans are compassionate and empathetic but can lack boundaries, becoming a sponge for other peoples emotions.

Symbolised by two fish swimming in opposite directions, there can be a chameleon like, hard to pin down quality to Pisces that speaks to their ability to merge and blend with the people and situations around them.

Now for the elephant in the room!

Pisces’ modern ruler is gas giant Neptune, The Mystic, who dissolves the boundaries between our mundane lives and other realms of existence.

Shrouded in a veil of illusion, even its discovery in 1846 was mysterious and confusing, Neptune rules devotion, deception, surrender, enchantment, longing and insatiability, disillusionment, drugs, alcohol and escapism.

Little wonder then, that Pisceans can tend towards secrecy, avoidance, dependency (and co-dependency) and addiction to anything that helps them lose themselves to altered states of consciousness rather than deal with the pressures of the real world.

Those that don’t work in the healing arts often find themself on creative, artistic paths, using their innate ability to understand and convey the deepest and most complex human emotions through music, dance and poetry.

Somewhat ironically, Pisces rules the feet. If ever a sign needed to keep their feet on the ground it’s them!

Throughout my life some of the closest people to me have been, and are, Piscean. It's my belief that their purpose is to help us FEEL and to see the world around us through the eyes of beauty and unconditional love. And I think the world would be a better place for it.
